TonyCabot is the CEO of Argo Global SE and the Argo Group’s director of Product Development for the EMEA region. Cabot is a member of 3iG (International Insurance Interest Group) and a founding member of the CPCU Society’s Europe Chapter. He is an active member of the Italian Academic Risk Management Association and a guest lecturer at the University of Verona’s Masters in Risk Management program.
He also represents the Argo Group within the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) Insurance Commission and is a supporter of the Principles for Sustainable Insurance.

Clive has practised as a lawyer in the area of insurance and reinsurance law since he qualified as a solicitor in 1982.Since then, he has been involved in many of the most significant reinsurance disputes that have occurred in the markets around the world and has also brought the experience that he gained from those problems to assisting clients in avoiding issues when entering into transactions. His practice has covered every aspect of reinsurance and complex insurance with a particular focus on financial reinsurance, alternative risk transfer and insurance linked securities(ILS)
